On October 22-24, 2019 the 16th International exhibition of power electronics components and modules was had in Moscow, Russia.

Post-release 2019
Power Electronics is the only specialized exhibition of power electronics components and modules for various industries in Russia.
In his welcoming speech, Vasily Shpak, the Director of the Department of Radioelectronic Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, noted that: 'Meeting at one site of the world leading manufacturers of power electronics components and systems and specialists of the largest industrial enterprises of Russia demonstrates the potential of the Russian power electronics market and will contribute to the scientific and technological progress'.

In 2019, more than 40 companies from Russia, Italy, Germany, Israel and the USA took part in the exhibition. Among them - the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of power electronics components and modules. The companies presented a full range of developments and turnkey solutions in the field of power electronics for energy and energy saving, electrical engineering, industrial automation, electric transport, telecommunications, transport engineering and aircraft manufacturing, the military-industrial complex, metallurgy, construction and other industries.
Industry leading companies such as Eural Gnutti SpA, Fuji Electric, IXYS Corporation, TDK-Lambda, IC Contract, Magneton Factory, Keysight Technologies, Milandr, Mitsubishi Electric, Nukon, FAV-East Europe and more took part in the exhibition.

Angstrem JSC, the leading Russian developer and manufacturer of integrated circuits, power semiconductor devices and radio frequency identification means, presented new developments in the field of power electronics at the exhibition, which were highly praised by specialists: power transistors, enclosure BTIZ and BVD, radiation-resistant switches and gate current drivers for power IGBT modules.
PJSC Mstator presented winding products, alloys for magnetic cores, linear power inductances, power transformers, transformer winding machines and much more. Visitors were especially interested in powder and noise suppressing magnetic cores, including the new series of magnetic cores MSCN (material AMAG 178N).
The latest developments were presented by Nukon condenser plant, the only Russian manufacturer of film capacitors produced under using MKP technology with metallized polypropylene film and non-combustible polymer compound.
The real boom was at Milandr company stand, which presented a new model of fast charging for electric vehicles. The MCA-1T22A charger of the CHAdeMO standard is suitable for the most popular electric vehicles in Russia: Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi i-MiEV, etc., and allows to charge an electric vehicle of medium capacity to a level of 80% in less than an hour.

As part of the business program of the exhibition, technical seminars were held for the participants of the exhibition. The scientific and practical seminar 'Electromagnetic compatibility of power electronics systems and power component base', organized by NPP Proryv LLC, opened the business program of the exhibition. The seminar was attended by representatives of over 25 organizations. The general director of the company, Vyacheslav Tukhas, made a presentation 'Actual issues of electronic products testing for resistance to electrostatic discharges (ESD) and single voltage pulses (SPE)'.

Proton-Electrotex company presented reports of the company leading specialists of the company. Timofey Fedorov, an engineer on new technology, made a presentation on the topic: 'WEB version of the Proton-Electrotex program for calculating the operating modes of converters'. Leading research engineer Denis Maly presented two reports: 'Fast and hybrid IGBT modules - an alternative to SiC MOSFET in modern energy-efficient medium-power converters' and 'Quality assurance of IGBT modules of Proton-Electrotex JSC at the stages of production development'.

Exponenta company spoke about a model-oriented approach to the design of electronics and control systems. The second part of the presentation was devoted to the development of control systems using MATLAB & Simulink tools for debugging electronic circuits. Specialists shared the features of the development, configuration and refinement of controller parameters, as well as code generation for embedded systems on which the developed algorithm worked.

The Power Electronics exhibition was held alongside with the international industrial exhibitions NDT Russia, Testing & Control, ExpoCoating Moscow, PCVExpo, FastTec and HEAT & POWER. Over three busy days, the exhibition was visited by 12 572 specialists.

In 2020, the Power Electronics exhibition will be held on 27-29 October in Crocus Expo Exhibition Center, Moscow, Russia.
